It’s calling on world leaders to cut greenhouse gas emissions to limit the damage.
Jamie Mainds, is a Zookeeper and Education Supervisor at Chessington Zoo in England, he says the emperor penguin is another endangered species.
“As the sea ice is melting, it is reducing the space for emperor penguins to nest and to breed but it also means that their predators can encroach closer on them so there is less space for them to get away from them with that sea ice melting.”

“I am announcing now that the Commission has already authorized the giving of the grant to CNU, maybe we can start with P25 to P30 million grant to give out so they can start and we will continue assisting our medical schools,” CHED Chairman Popoy De Vera said in an online presscon on Monday, May 24.
De Vera said that CHED will also make sure that the program is adequately funded – especially for the equipment. The grant, he added, will enable CNU to “jump start its acquisition of the necessary educational equipment for their medical program.”
Meanwhile, De Vera congratulated the CNU-VSMMC for the opening of the medical program effective Academic Year (AY) 2021-2022.

promotoras - volunteer health workers - team with CalFresh Healthy Living, University of California Cooperative Extension educators, magic happens in school gardens. Trained by Ceres Partnership for Healthy Families in Stanislaus County,
promotoras encourage children to eat well by growing their own produce in school gardens.
In 2018, twenty
promotoras were trained to implement the Powerful People curriculum designed to engage community leaders. This is a partnership with Cultiva La Salud and Ceres Partnership for Healthy Families with funding support from Stanislaus County Health Services Agency. After the training, the
promotoras worked with Ceres Unified School District to create school gardens at five Ceres elementary schools where their children attended afterschool programs that host UC Cooperative Extension CalFresh Healthy Living, UC programs.
