Date Time Grass is greener at new Riverbanks College Construction of the new Riverbanks College B-12 at Angle Vale is entering its final stages with the project well on track to welcome its first intake of students in 2022. Premier Steven Marshall and Minister for Education John Gardner today toured the school which will provide world-class education facilities for up to 1,675 students, with 100 inclusive places for students with disability and 75-places for preschool, early learning and care. The construction work is delivering a massive jobs boost with more than 1700 workers inducted on site to date. Today’s tour included a look at the freshly laid turf on the school oval, part of the expansive outdoor facilities designed for community use out of hours.

Two of the new schools, Aldinga Payinthi College and Riverbanks College B-12, are advertising both primary and secondary vacancies at the same time, to ensure they are ready to open to students in 2022. Date Time Underdale High School’s new creative arts centre is on song It’s almost show time for Underdale High School’s new creative arts centre, which boasts art, music and drama areas and a performance space for 150 people. The creative arts centre is part of the school’s $20 million capital works program, which also includes a refit of the home economics and technology buildings, refurbishment and upgrades to general learning areas andm a new 2 storey administrative building. With the new construction and upgrades across the site the project is creating 32 construction jobs. “It’s very exciting to get the first look at the fantastic new creative arts centre which will benefit western suburbs students for generations to come,” Minister for Education John Gardner said.
