The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to hold the CBSE Class 12 board exam 2021 from July 15 to August 26. Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal will announce the exam date and format on June 1.

Delhi Education Minister Manish Sisodia spoke to India Today TV and said that there would be no one more foolish than us if despite knowing the dangers, we go ahead with board exams now.
The CBSE board exam 2021 will likely be held between July 15 and August 26 amidst all Covid-19 safety protocols and the details and format would be announced by Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal on June 1. Delhi Deputy CM and Education Minister Manish Sisodia is amongst those completely against conducting the board exams amidst the pandemic.
A high-level meeting was held on Sunday with the education ministers of all the states to discuss the possibility of the CBSE, CISCE, states board exams and other entrance exams in light of the second wave of Covid-19.
