Date Time Future Education Innovations project success Researchers in the Institute for Learning Sciences and Teacher Education (ILSTE) based in Brisbane were successfully funded through Education Queensland’s Education Horizon program to undertake an innovation in schooling and workforce study. Chief Investigators Associate Professor Laura Scholes, Professor Kathy Mills, Dr Lesley Friend (ILSTE) and Dr Amanda Gutierrez (National School of Education) will lead the research on Future Education: Evidence-based innovations for Queensland schooling and workforces. The aims are to: evaluate evidence of how schools and workforces can adapt to address the learning needs of students in a time of global uncertainty; synthesize evidence of how other nations/jurisdictions similar to Queensland have responded to global changes and implemented/funded successful transitions; reduce key findings into a Futures Framework (FF) to inform adaptations and flexible delivery of education in Queenslan
