MIFFINTOWN Juniata Valley Bank is offering a scholarship for one Juniata and one East Juniata high school student.
Cindy Williams of the Juniata Valley Bank outlined the criteria of the Richard J. and Lela A. Nestler College Scholarship during the weekly Juniata County Commissioners meeting held Tuesday.
She said the applicant with the highest SAT score will receive the scholarship, which will pay for the student’s first semester of college.
Applications are available at Juniata Valley Bank and guidance offices at Juniata and East Juniata high schools and on the county’s website. Students must apply by May 1.
