After holding a city election last month (April), the Fort Pierre City Council reorganized at their meeting last night.
Council members Callie Iverson (Ward II), Greg Kenzy (Ward I) and Todd Bernhard (Ward III) were each sworn in for another two year term, while Rick Cronin (Ward III) took the oath of office to serve a one year term.
Kenzy was elected council president. Larry Cronin was elected vice-president.

The Fort Pierre City Council meets this evening at 6:30pm in the South Dakota Municipal League building (208 Island Drive). Items on their agenda include:
the oath of office for those beginning a new term in office– Greg Kenzy (Ward I, 2 years), Callie Iverson (Ward II, 2 years), Todd Bernhard (Ward III, 2 years) and Rick Cronin (Ward III, 1 year)
election of council president and vice president
appointment of council members to committees
Due to CDC guidelines the capacity of the room is limited to 15. Therefore, the meeting will ALSO be accessible to the public by phone or computer using ZOOM. No video display will be used and votes will be recorded by roll call.
