Two people were arrested in connection with a case filed over the gang-rape of a schoolgirl in Narail s Kalia upazila.
The arrestees a seventeen-year-old boy and Bappi Sikder (19) - were produced before a district court today, said Sheikh Koni Mia, officer-in-charge of Kalia Police Station.
Police arrested the duo from their house after the victim s father filed a rape case with Kalia Police Station against five people last night, said the OC.
Quoting the case statement, OC Koni Mia said the seventeen-year-old boy and his accomplices, including Bappi, gang-raped the ninth-grade student yesterday evening.
