Caledonia Region RCMP are searching for a missing Albert County teen. Connor James Allan Wilbur, 14, was last seen around 8:30 p.m. on Thursday on Forestdale Road in Riverside-Albert.

Renauds Mills man charged with attempted murder of woman, fleeing police
A 29-year old man from Renauds Mills is facing eight charges, including attempted murder, after he allegedly assaulted a woman and fled from police, say RCMP.

A 29-year old man from Renauds Mills is facing eight charges, including attempted murder, after he allegedly assaulted a woman and fled from police, say RCMP.
On Saturday, shortly before 1:30 a.m., officers responded to a 911 call from a woman who said she was being assaulted at a home on Renauds Mills Road in the southeastern community, but the male suspect had already fled in a vehicle by the time they arrived, Cpl. Eric Friel of the Richibucto detachment said Thursday.
HALIFAX A 56-year-old man from Elgin, N.B., is facing several charges, after police say he allegedly sexually assaulted and forcibly confined a woman. On Saturday, Caledonia Region RCMP officers responded to a home on Gowland Mountain Road for a wellbeing check. When they arrived, police found a 56-year-old man and a 45-year-old woman, who were both injured. The man was arrested and taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. He was later released from hospital and was remanded into custody. The woman was treated by paramedics at the scene. On Wednesday, 56-year-old James Steeves was charged with the following offences:
