GYMS across the Bradford district are ready to put a frustrating 12 months behind them when they reopen next week. Terry Holt, owner of The Pride Gym in Low Moor, is looking forward to reopening to customers from 6am next Monday after a stop-start previous few months. He previously slammed a decision to close indoor gyms, indoor fitness and dance studios, indoor sports courts and facilities and indoor swimming pools last July just six days after reopening. But Mr Holt says he is optimistic that his venue will not be forced to close again as they look ahead. All of the gym s equipment will be two metres apart to maintain social distancing and users will be asked to wipe down gym equipment after they use them.

(WKBT) Gillette Street will be closed from Rose to George streets starting April 5, according to the La Crosse Engineering Department. The road will be closed for utility work, paving and lighting work in conjunction with the state of Wisconsin project in the same area. During construction, the intersections at Kane Street, Charles Street, Liberty Street, Avon Street and Caledonia Street will be impassible. The closure is expected to last through Aug. 27. A signed detour will be posted during the closure, routing traffic to Clinton Street.

Three Stratford residents charged after break-in investigation SHARE ON: Three Stratford residents face charges after an investigation into break and enters in the city. Stratford Police say they were contacted on January 2nd by homeowners with a house on St.David Street who said it had been broken into and ransacked with thousands of dollars worth of items missing. SPS says they received a number of reports over the holidays of homes in the city being broken into including one on Caledonia Street where a substantial amount of property was taken. Police say they identified three suspects, a 42-year-old man, a 44-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman and all three were arrested and charged.
