Brandon Jackson was driving eastbound on Clinton Keith Road around 3:17 p.m. with his wife, Nancy, when his vehicle struck a westbound Toyota minivan as it turned left onto California Oaks Road.

The crash impact caused Jackson s Nissan to slam into a signal pole and the couple was ejected. Nancy died at the scene. Brandon, who is a military veteran, photographer, and real estate agent, was hospitalized with major injuries.

MURRIETA, CA The Murrieta Police Department released details Monday about the fiery multi-vehicle crash over the weekend that killed one person and seriously injured another on the east side of the city.
Sunday s 3:17 p.m. crash occurred at the intersection of Clinton Keith and California Oaks roads. In a press release posted late Monday afternoon, police said a Nissan coupe heading east on Clinton Keith hit a westbound Toyota minivan as it turned left onto California Oaks Road.

MURRIETA, CA A two-vehicle collision in Murrieta prompted police to close the Clinton Keith at California Oaks intersection in both directions Sunday afternoon, the Murrieta Police Department said on Facebook. One vehicle with major damage also caught fire, according to reports from the scene. Please avoid the area and use alternate routes until further notice, police said.
First responders were dispatched at 3:16 p.m. to the crash that damaged a traffic light and left significant debris in the roadway. Officers were re-routing drivers through a residential neighborhood to avoid the crash site.
