This move follows an open letter signed by nearly 1,000 employees past and present.
Activision Blizzard employees have planned a walkout for tomorrow in protest of the company’s leadership and following a lawsuit that alleges harrassment and discrimination.
A lawsuit filed by the Californian Department of Fair Employment and Housing alleges that female employees were subjected to a “pervasive frat boy workplace culture” which included events where male counterparts would “drink copious amounts of alcohol as they crawl their way through various cubicles in the office and often engage in inappropriate behavior toward female employees.”
According to GamesIndustry, employees will walkout of Blizzard’s Irvine, California-based campus between 10 am and 2 pm Pacific time, 28 July.
