CHARLOTTE, N.C. On one of the busiest travel days of the holiday season Wednesday, some travelers at the Charlotte Douglas Airport were concerned about COVID-19 safety. Last week, a passenger on a United Airlines flight from Orlando to Los Angeles reportedly died at a hospital after the plane was diverted to New Orleans for a medical emergency.
