(HOWARD ALEXANDER / iNFOnews.ca) March 16, 2021 - 10:02 AM The rainbow crosswalk opposite Kalamalka Beach has once again been the target of vandals who recently smeared white paint across the multi-coloured road markings. According to the Vernon North Okanagan RCMP, the vandalism took place sometime between March 12 and 13. This is the second incident in less than two years that vandals have targeted this location, Vernon RCMP spokesperson Corp. Tania Finn said in a media release. Unfortunately, no suspects were identified in the investigation in 2019.
