For more than two years, Amanda and Corey Harrington have sought an answer for what happened to their now 8-year-old son. Police and social workers investigated. Livermore Joint Valley Unified School District officials looked into the matter.
Although the Harringtons held meetings with school officials and police, none of the investigations have yielded any answers. Nobody has been found to blame. And, if they have, the Harringtons say none of the authorities have released that information to them.
Recently, they chose to take their questions public. It is very unnerving and always in the back of my mind that this mystery to what happened to my son is still unresolved, the boy s mother, Amanda Harrington, said during a recent interview. There is no closure, and there is nothing I can do to protect him. It still haunts me. It really does.

SAN FRANCISCO - Frustrated parents in San Francisco have coined a new phrase for their latest classroom reality: Zoom in a Room. In Los Angeles, students can start going back to school in person, but more than half say they will stick with distance learning.

My local community has seen an uptick in violent crime since Coronavirus arrived last spring. The neighborhood listserv, which used to be filled with “free on the curb” sort of posts, is now populated with dire warnings about break-ins, carjackings, assaults, aggressive panhandlers, even sexual assaults and murders.
Sadly, far-Left Democrats in Virginia want to make it harder for women to protect themselves and their families.
One of the most-horrendous crimes that occurred in my Democrat Party-controlled city involved a rape victim who was murdered by the man who had attacked her. In July 2020, Ibrahim Bouaichi shot and killed Karla Gonzalez just after she’d testified against him in the rape trial. Soon after Gonzalez testified, the trial judge in the case released Bouaichi over concerns about COVID-19, though he did not require Bouaichi to wear an ankle bracelet. In other words, he was free to hunt her down and kill her.
