Bengaluru (Karnataka) [India], February 13 (ANI): The Central Crime Branch (CCB) of the Karnataka Police on Saturday arrested two Nigerian nationals for alleged drug peddling in Ramamurthy Nagar Police station area here.
The CCB also seized cocaine and ecstasy worth Rs 15 lakhs from them.
A case has been registered and further investigation is underway. (ANI)

B.S. Yediyurappa said that cyber security may pose a big challenge in the coming days not only in Bengaluru but across the State.
Speaking to newsmen after Senior Police Officers Annual Meet here recently, he said the Karnataka Police was doing exceptional work in the detection of crime. “There are several instances where the Police have arrested the accused within 48 hours, which shows their efficiency. Statistics also show that the number of heinous crimes in the State is decreasing and Karnataka is a safe place for women and children,” he claimed.

A total of 16 young women, mostly from villages across Karnataka, are learning to shoot, handle terror, and improve their weapon-handling skills as part of the training for the first batch of the all-woman Garuda commandos of the Karnataka Police.
The pre-induction training of the special operational team Garuda, Karnataka s own anti-terror force, is underway at Bengaluru s Centre for Counter-Terrorism for these 16 women, led by police official ML Madhura Veena.
Senior state police official Bhaskar Rao on 5 February met the first batch of all-women Garuda commandos of the police.
