As the country awaits the formal rollout of the biggest tax reform, GST, from June 30 midnight, sports enthusiasts would find it an expensive proposition to enjoy their pet sporting events at stadiums since the new indirect tax regime would attract a considerable amount of taxes on match tickets.

Bengaluru, Jan 18 : Legendary India leg-spinner B.S. Chandrasekhar has been admitted to a private hospital here after he complained of fatigue and slurring in speech. Chandra is recovering very well, and he will be back home in two days, his wife Sandhya Chandrasekhar Bhagwath stated in her release to the media on Monday. She added that Chandrasekhar was fine and was watching the Australia-India Test match when he suddenly complained of fatigue and slurring in speech. So we took him to the hospital, she said.

New Delhi: Leading India players, including Jemimah Rodrigues, Veda Krishnamurthy and Deepti Sharma, will be taking part in a club T20 tournament in Bengaluru from Monday even as uncertainty continues over the team’s next international assignment amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
