First Honorary Consul of Vietnam in India appointed
The Vietnamese Embassy in India on July 7 solemnly awarded the appointment decision, credentials and consular items to Mr. Nama Subbiah Setty Srinivasa Murthy, the newly appointed Honorary Consul of Vietnam in Bangalore, Karnataka State, India.

Mr. Srinivasa Murthy, born in 1950, is a successful businessman in many fields. He has experience in leading and managing many large enterprises and associations with roles such as: Chairman of Karnataka Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Chairman of All India Incense Manufacturers Association, Chairman of the Cricket Association in Karnataka state and currently he is the Chairman of The Mysore Silk Cloth Merchants Co-Operative Bank Ltd.

The Covid-induced lockdown imposed for prolonged periods has dealt a massive blow to the fortunes of thousands of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), with many of them staring into endless pits of despair.
