LATHROP, Calif. A suspect is in custody in connection to a deadly shooting at a home in Lathrop that was followed by a pair of carjackings and a high-speed chase around San Joaquin County.
Authorities were originally called out to a home in the 13000 block of Talc Avenue on a report of a shooting. Deputies arrived at the home and found one person dead from an apparent gunshot wound.

Stockton s iconic West Lane Bowl had been closed for over a year due to the pandemic. A normal day would bring in 300 to 400 people to bowl, but right now it s a much smaller amount with the restrictions.
Stagg High School principal removed from graduation ceremony after giving speech

STOCKTON, Calif. The principal of Stockton s Stagg High School was removed from a graduation ceremony by police after giving a speech on Thursday.
Ben Nakamura told ABC10 that he found out in March that he would be laid off as principal for the high school. During his graduation speech, Nakamura told his graduating students that he would not be returning next year.
