Concerns have been raised about access to dental care in Suffolk - with one patient ending up in hospital for three days in severe pain after being unable to find an emergency dentist.
Of 2,000 people surveyed by Healthwatch England, 27% said they either struggle to pay or avoid dental treatments altogether - because they cannot afford the costs.
Many areas have also been left with NHS dentist provision - such as Leiston, which lost two practices in 18 months and is now without its own NHS dentist.

A DUNFERMLINE school is hoping to kerb its problem parking after the addition of two pop-up bairns . The traffic-calming measures have been put up outside Milesmark Primary to remind drivers to slow down outside the building. They were introduced after the Milesmark and Baldridgeburn Community Council stepped in and provided funding to pay for the two figures. Headteacher Carol Newton is hopeful the bairns will help make the journey to and from school safer for youngsters. We traditionally had a cross patrol at the junction of Parkneuk Road but that was removed a couple of years ago and since then the children have been crossing on their own, she explained.
