The week started off on a high note with our monthly board of directors meeting led by Carolyn Morrison, chair of the board. Among the highlights were excellent attendance as usual and participation from all the board members, who shared their pandemic experiences professionally and personally. The results were upbeat and honest. Themes were apparent: optimism, collaboration, helping others, opportunities, appreciation and importance of family. Here are comments, some paraphrased:
“Attending lots of Zoom meetings. Miss seeing others in person.”
“Not much has changed at work since many of us are working at the office. I do not see my family and that is an issue but hopefully this will change.”
