WORCESTER, Mass The president of Worcester State University announced Thursday that in-person classes will resume for the fall semester that will resemble the percentages that were offered in the fall of 2019. This follows the unanimous vote by the Board of Trustees at their Tuesday, March 16 meeting to freeze fees for the 2021-22 school year.
In a statement to the university on March 18, President Maloney affirmed safety protocols will still be part of the fall return to campus activities for all students, faculty and staff. “I have pledged to couple the return to a full campus experience – in our residence halls and our classrooms –with a continued surveillance testing program next fall, even if new cases drop to zero, so that we can be certain the widespread vaccinations are protecting our campus,” Maloney said in an announcement to students. “I know many of you are yearning to have the full in-person campus experie
