The outpatient centre is going to be located in what s the current Unit B at St. Joseph s Hospital. It s basically a centralized location for all or at least most of the outpatient services that our hospital is able to offer our community. So some of those services include women s health clinic, endoscopy procedures, stress testing, blood infusions. Basically, everything that would be a day worth of services that people come in and out of our hospital for. We wanted to really just have a proper department that could offer those in an organized manner, explained foundation executive director Breanne Van De Woestyne.

It was another cold morning in the 32-36 range with frost & fog. Coldest temperatures were in the northern & northeastern counties.
I expected 30s to around 41 in this period of May (with some patchy frost north & northeast) dating back to early April, but not 32-33. Getting to 32 is a bit more uncommon, but mid to upper 30s in early May are not. Last 36 of the spring is typically in the May 1-7 time frame.

On October 14, 1876, James Howard was aboard the Louisville-Jeffersonville ferry John Shallcross. Headed home after a day of tending to business on the Kentucky side of the Ohio, James remained seated in his carriage during the crossing. Allegedly, the whistle of the ferry startled the horse, which backed the carriage forcefully against a gate that had not been properly latched, sending the buggy, horse and passenger into the river. Witnesses said that they saw Howard surface one time as he attempted to release the harness of the horse before sinking from sight.
