Mon, 2021-01-18 Around 12:10am today, Monday January 18th, police officers responded to a reported single vehicle car crash on Middle Road in Southampton near the junction with Luke’s Pond Road. On arrival, the car said to be involved in the incident was found unoccupied and extensively damaged. Initial inquiries suggest that the vehicle was being driven east and struck a wall along Middle Road, Southampton – temporarily preventing traffic flow in either direction. Bermuda Fire & Rescue Service personnel also attended the scene and cleared the roadway of debris before the damaged car was towed away, allowing regular traffic flow to resume.
