The Bahamas men’s national beach soccer team gave it quite a ride on Friday but just came up short in their quarterfinal match against Mexico.
Team Bahamas held the lead in the final third on Friday but the game went into extra time, and they ended up falling 5-4, and was eliminated at the 2021 CONCACAF (Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football) Beach Soccer Championships (CBSC), at the Complejo Deportivo Fedefutbol in Alajuela, Costa Rica.

Qatar to take on Panama in Gold Cup opener

Debutants Qatar will face Panama in their opening match of the 2021 Concacaf Gold Cup, it was announced yesterday.
Asian champions Qatar, the only invitee in the 13-nation tournament, will play their first match at the BBVA Stadium in Houston, at 2:00am Qatar time on July 14, the fixtures announced by the Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (Concacaf) showed.
In Group D, Qatar s other opponents will be Honduras and Grenada. Qatar s next match will be against Grenada on July 17 (July 18 - 2:00am Qatar time) at the same venue.
