Vice President Leni Robredo had nothing but good words for the Quezon City government for the vaccination of 165 staff members at the Office of the Vice President (OVP).
In a Facebook post, Robredo shared photos of OVP staff receiving their second dose of coronavirus vaccines at the Quezon City Reception House, where they hold office.

“Conducting office-based vaccinations is a big help. Our staff do not have to line up in vaccination centers anymore; hence, the risk of virus transmission is lessened,” she said.

Vice President Leni Robredo met with Chilean Ambassador to the Philippines Claudio Alberto Rojas Rachel on Tuesday, June 22, expressing her gratitude to the Chilean government for treating some 860 Filipinos well in the host country.

“I thanked His Excellency for the fair treatment and good working conditions of the 860 Filipinos residing in Chile who are mostly household service workers, students, professionals, and missionaries,” she said in a Facebook post Tuesday night.

Robredo led the turnover of the bicycles on Sunday, March 8, at the Quezon City Reception House, where she holds office. She spoke to the recipients, mostly construction workers from Muntinlupa City.
“Ang trabaho nila dito sa Muñoz, so grabe iyong ginagastos nila araw-araw. Iyong walang panggastos, naglalakad. So binigyan natin ng bikes, at sobrang happy sila (They work here in Muñoz, so they have big expenses everyday. Those who can’t afford their expenses have to walk. So we gave them bikes, and they were so happy),” she said in her radio show over dzXL after she handed over the bicycles.
