Charlotte Flair and Kayla Braxton are both taking some heat on social media today due to recent tweets, but their supporters are also backing them up.
Flair’s criticism came after she “liked” a tweet that Israeli actress Gal Gadot posted on Wednesday. The Wonder Woman star tweeted a statement about the current Israel – Palestine conflict, which escalated today after the IDF (Israel Defense Forces) began ground operations in Gaza to fight Palestinian militant group Hamas, and the PIJ (Palestinian Islamic Jihad). Gadot wrote how her country is at war, and how Israel deserves to live as a free and safe nation, as do their neighbors. She ended her statement by praying for a solution so both sides can live in peace, and praying for better days. Gadot ended up disabling public replies on the tweet due to the backlash she received.

We’re live from the WWE ThunderDome at the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida as pyro goes off. There’s throwback theme music and graphics. The SmackDown fist is also there on an updated set. Michael Cole welcomes us to the show and he’s at ringside with Pat McAfee, who is dressed like a young WWE Chairman & CEO Vince McMahon. They lead us to a look back at the August 26, 1999 SmackDown main event between The Rock and Triple H, which was the first main event of SmackDown. They tout how there have been 1,133 SmackDown episodes in a row. Cole says we will make more magic tonight.
Tonight s Throwback SmackDown is a special retro episode and continues the build to WrestleMania Backlash.
Last week, Universal Champion Roman Reigns defeated Daniel Bryan to retain his title and banish Bryan from SmackDown. Bryan s WWE contract legitimately expired last Friday at midnight.
After the match, Reigns went to give Bryan a con-chair-to, but Cesaro made the save. Cesaro beat down Reigns but was eventually tied up in the ropes after being attacked by Jey Uso. Reigns then gave Bryan a con-chair-to as Cesaro was powerless to help Bryan.
Cesaro goes one-on-one with Seth Rollins tonight. Cesaro defeated Rollins at WrestleMania 37 last month, but Rollins has continued to target Cesaro since. Rollins was offended that Cesaro wants a Universal title shot and promised him that their feud isn t over.
