India Imposes CVD on Imports of Aluminium Wire Rod from Malaysia India’s Director General of Trade Remedies announced that based on the duly substantiated application with prima facie evidence filed by the Applicants, it 06 Jul, 2021 , 4:41 am India’s Director General of Trade Remedies announced that based on the duly substantiated application with prima facie evidence filed by the Applicants, it has initiated an anti-subsidy investigation on import of Aluminium Wire &Wire Rods above 7 mm diameter originating in or exported from Malaysia. DGTR has recommends imposition of countervailing duty equal to the lesser of margin of subsidy and the margin of injury, so as to remove the injury to the Domestic Industry. The Authority recommends imposition of definitive countervailing duty as below on all imports of goods
