Stephan Adi - Kent Police / Suffolk Road in Gravesend A robber who carried out a string of burglaries in Gravesend, including pushing an elderly woman to the floor for her handbag, has been jailed for five years. Stephan Adi was 23 when he pushed the elderly victim to the floor, and kicked her in the face, after he saw her walking alone in Gravesend town centre. He was also responsible for several burglaries that took place in the same area across January and February 2020, say Kent Police. Adi, now 24, of Suffolk Road, Gravesend, was found guilty of robbery, three counts of burglary, theft of motor vehicle and fraud by false representation following a trial at Woolwich Crown Court.

Bertrand Alexander Sisk, 28 (18.02.93), of Folkestone, Kent, was found guilty of causing grievous bodily harm with intent at Woolwich Crown Court.  He had pleaded guilty to possessing a class A drug and assault occasioning actual bodily harm on a woman who he also assaulted. He was sentenced to six years and six months imprisonment on Wednesday, 5 May. Sisk and the victim, also aged 28, had met for pre-drinks in the hours before they went to a nightclub in The Broadway for a mutual friend s birthday party in December 2019.
