A BARROW town centre store is relocating. The Sofa Group, which supplies and manufactures sofas, oak furniture, beds, mattresses, pictures, lighting and home goods, will be moving from its current Market Street location. It comes as the company prepares to open Carpet World, which is due to open this month. Carpet World has taken the place of former store Empire Carpets in Walney Road. The new store will offer a “huge range of carpets for immediate estimation and fitting,” as well as collections of LVT and laminate, artificial grass, as well as vinyl flooring. The Sofa Group will be moved into the same store, to allow for customers to get all of their furniture needs taken care of under one roof.
