BANNU: The Bannu district administration and the police on Thursday initiated action and registered cases against the organizers, political activists and service providers for the recent public meeting of the oppositionâs Pakistan Democratic Movement for violation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and others laws.
The organizers, who are also district office-bearers of various political parties were charged under different sections of the law, including violations of SOPs against coronavirus, district administration directives, demolishing wall of the sports complex, installing sound system/loudspeaker and others.

Open-software powerhouse Red Hat has struck a deal to buy StackRox, a developer of container and Kubernetes-native security that Red hat will use to boost the security capabilities of the Red Hat OpenShift hybrid cloud platform.
The acquisition comes as the adoption of container technology in general – and Kubernetes in particular – for cloud-native applications within production IT environments is accelerating.

Red Hat Inc. announced its first acquisition of the year today, saying it intends to acquire container and Kubernetes threat detection company StackRox Inc.
Red Hat said it wants to integrate StackRox’s security tools with its OpenShift platform to make container workloads more secure. OpenShift is Red Hat’s version of the Kubernetes container orchestration software. Containers are portable, self-contained software environments, and Kubernetes is used to manage large deployments of them.

American multinational software company Red Hat today announced the signature of a definitive agreement to acquire StackRox, a trailblazer in Kubernetes-native security.
By bringing StackRox’s Kubernetes-native security capabilities to Red Hat OpenShift, Red Hat said it hopes to take one step closer to creating a single platform that will enable users to build, deploy and securely run nearly any application across the entirety of the hybrid cloud.
In addition to Red Hat OpenShift, StackRox will carry on supporting multiple Kubernetes platforms, including Microsoft Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
