Fan restrictions lifted for October races at Kansas Speedway

KANSAS CITY, Mo. â When NASCAR returns to Kansas Speedway for the NASCAR Cup Series and Nascar Xfinity Series Playoffs, there will be no restrictions on the number of fans in the grandstands.
The races are scheduled for Oct. 23 to Oct 24.
Fans can experience the Kansas Lottery 300 NASCAR Xfinity Series race at 2:00 p.m. The Reese s 150 ARCA Menards Series Championship race starts at 6:00 p.m., followed by the Hollywood Casino 400, NASCAR Cup Series race on Sunday, Oct. 24, at 2:00 p.m.

April 20 (UPI) A Kansas woman said arriving early for an appointment to get her vehicle s tires changed led to her winning a $10,000 lottery jackpot.
Mika Lewis of Olathe told Kansas Lottery officials she was early for her appointment to have her vehicle tires changed, so she stopped into the Price Chopper store in Olathe to pick up some scratch-off lottery tickets.

An Osage County resident, who for more than two months didn t realize they had a raffle ticket worth $1 million in their vehicle s console, recently came forward to claim their prize in that amount in the Kansas Lottery s Holiday Millionaire Raffle.
The winner has chosen to remain anonymous, the Lottery said in a news release Tuesday.
The winning ticket was sold at Bryan’s Liquor at 840 N. Washington in Auburn, Lottery spokeswoman Jessica Herrera said in the release. The retailer is eligible for a $1,000 selling bonus for selling the winning ticket, she said.
Holiday Millionaire Raffle tickets costing $20 each went on sale Sept. 1 for the raffle, which featured a $1 million grand prize and other prizes in smaller amounts.
