On the heel of its service resumption to Tokyo in December, Hong Kong Airlines has this month returned to Osaka and added a Sunday service to Tokyo.
The Osaka resumption, which came into effect on January 2, 2021, is operated every Thursday and Saturday to Kansai International Airport.
Hong Kong Airlines resumes twice weekly flights to Osaka
The additional Tokyo service was launched on January 1, between Hong Kong and Narita International Airport.
The Airbus A330 aircraft will be deployed for both destinations, to ensure ample cargo space is also available to ferry goods and perishables from these two popular cities.
Japan has maintained a ban on entries of foreign tourists, though it recently relaxed rules for business travelers and students from some Asian nations, including China and South Korea.

The new store, located in the terminal’s international departure area, will feature a range of signature hand bags and accessories of the fashion brand.

The paint maker on Friday (1 January 2021) announced that it subscribed 1.65 crore equity shares of its subsidiary, Kansai Nerolac Paints (Bangladesh).Kansai Nerolac Paints holds 55% stake in Kansai Nerolac Paints (Bangladesh) (formerly known as RAK Paints). In a further issue of shares, the subsidiary allotted 1,65,00,000 equity shares of face value Bangladeshi Taka (BDT) 10 each to Kansai Nerolac Paints. The investment aggregates to BDT 165 million (about Rs 14.33 crore). The paint maker said its shareholding in the subsidiary remains the same.
Kansai Nerolac Paints is a paint company which offers a range of products, including decorative, automotive coatings and performance coatings.
Shares of Kansai Nerolac rose 4.6% to Rs 634.50 on Friday.

Los Angeles County’s Covid-19 hospitalizations are at an all-time high, with 10 times the number of people in hospital from just two months ago.
According to the Los Angeles Department of Public Health (LADPH), 7,181 patients were in the hospital Tuesday 267 more than Monday. Around 20% of those in hospital are in the intensive care unit (ICU).
On October 29, there were 750 people hospitalized with the disease.
