“There wasn’t a lot of new taxation measures, there’s no new personal tax rates or anything like that. They’re trying to keep, for the moment, as much money in everybody’s pocket as they possibly can, although at some point we’re going to pay the piper,” O’Rourke explained. “Some of the big announcements when you go through the budget are things like a ton of incentives on clean energy. There are so many that we could be here all day, but if you’re getting clean energy of any kind you’ll want to take a peek at the budget. There’s a lot of programs, a lot of incentives coming out and that’s a big push from the government.”
Regional Relief and Recovery Fund extended to June 30th

The deadline to apply for the Regional Relief and Recovery Fund (RRRF) has been pushed to the end of June.
Through the RRRF, small and medium-sized businesses can access a maximum of $60,000 with 0% interest and no principal payments until December 31, 2022.
The funding supports businesses unable to access other federal measures, such as the Canada Emergency Business Account.
Principal repayments can be voluntarily made at any time and clients who repay the total non-forgivable portion of their loans by December 31, 2022 will be granted forgiveness as follows:
