Permanent Secretary for Health, Doctor James Fong confirms there are 386 new cases of COVID-19 and 2 COVID-19 deaths to report for the 24 hour period that ended at 8am today.

A man who was viciously attacked by two rottweilers during his morning walk along Ragg Avenue in Namadi Heights is calling for the government to review the penalty for cases where dogs attack people. Adi Narayan says the two dogs ran out of the compound after the electronic gate was opened by the owner of the house. He says one of the dogs bit his right calf muscle and the situation would have been worse if he didn’t have an umbrella with him to stop the dogs.
