William N. âBillâ Jennewein, 75, of Yankton, South Dakota, passed away on Friday, Dec. 11, 2020, at Avera Sacred Heart Hospital in Yankton from complications of COVID-19 virus.
A private family Mass of Christian Burial was held Wednesday, Dec. 16, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Yankton with the Rev. Fr. Larry Regynski as celebrant. Burial was at Sacred Heart Cemetery with military honors accorded by Ernest Bowyer VFW Post 791 Honor Guard and SDARNG Honor Guard.

The ministry entrusted to the bishop is a service of unity both within his diocese and of unity between the local church and the universal church. That ministry therefore has special significance in the search for the unity of all Christ’s followers.
