MUSKEGON COUNTY, Mich. The Muskegon County Board of Commissioners on Tuesday voted 5-4 to extend its local state of emergency allowing the county board of commissioners to hold meetings virtually. Board of Commissioners Chairperson Robert Scolnik declared the state of emergency last week but it needed the board s approval to be extended.

We ve seen Myles Kennedy handle rock vocals with aplomb for years, but the Alter Bridge and Slash vocalist got a chance to show off his more soulful side joining a group of musicians for a cover of an Earth, Wind & Fire classic.
Kennedy took part in the Couch Riffs series of socially distanced covers that was started by Duff McKagan s Loaded musician Mike Squires. For this session, Squires tasked Kennedy and his cohorts with taking on the funky 1975 R&B and pop hit Shining Star from Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Earth, Wind & Fire.

MUSKEGON COUNTY, MI – If last weekend’s walk-in COVID-19 vaccine clinic in Muskegon is any indication, demand will rise dramatically as eligibility opens to everyone beginning Monday.
The clinic held at Muskegon Community College on Saturday, March 27, initially was targeted at those age 60 and over. But when that age group didn’t show up in numbers expected, the clinic was opened to all age groups.
