SAU 16 Superintendent David Ryan said during the meeting he was accepting Wons resignation “with great sadness.” Patty has served well in this role for the last five years and led CMS s growth efforts in several areas including her leadership in enhancing facilities to create a much more effective learning environment,” Ryan said.
Ryan said Wons also led efforts to heighten awareness of critical issues around diversity, inclusion, equity and social justice and increasing student choice and options from a curriculum standpoint. She has been a true champion for children and has always led from a student-centered framework,” Ryan said. “We wish her the very best in her future endeavors.
