65 students participate in Plant Million Tree initiative

Doha: The Ministry of Municipality and Environment represented by the Public Parks Department yesterday organised a tree plantation event at Qatar Technical Secondary School for Girls.
A total of 65 students of Qatar Technical Secondary School for Girls participated in this week long campaign which was held under Plant Million Tree initiative of the Ministry.
Under the campaign many local trees will be planted at the campus in coordination with the experts and agricultural engineers of the Public Parks Department.The Department called all entities, institutions and individuals to take part in Plant Million Tree initiative which aimed at increasing the greenery across the country for environmental purpose.
