A 25-year-old man has been charged with the murder of a Clarendon-born Jamaican man in Trinidad and Tobago earlier this month.
Kadeem Williams, alias Circles , of Tilbury Street, Laventille in Trinidad, is expected to appear virtually in a Port of Spain magistrate’s court on Monday, December 28, according to a release from the police in that country.
In addition to being charged with murder, Williiams has been booked for illegal possession of firearm and illegal possession of ammunition.
The victim, 46-year-old Neil Johnson, was shot on December 16, and died the following day at hospital, the police stated.
He was originally from May Pen in Clarendon, and had reportedly been living in Trinidad for some 14 years.
