A car crash killed Indianapolis-area high school students who were on their way to prom, authorities said.
The two-vehicle crash, which also injured two other students, happened around 5:15 p.m. on Saturday. One vehicle, a Honda Accord, had four teens in it. They were on their way to Hamilton Heights High School’s prom in Kokomo when their vehicle collided with an SUV. Both vehicles ended up in a field.
The two deceased victims were identified as Lendon Byram, who was driving and Kalen Hart, who was sitting in the front seat.

Kalen Hart, 18, and her boyfriend Lendon Byram died after another vehicle crashed into them in Arcadia, 40 miles north of Indianapolis, on Saturday night
The couple were on their way to Hart s senior prom at Hamilton Heights High School at the time
Her boyfriend, who was driving at the time, was a junior at Cathedral High School in Indianapolis
Two other students who were in the back seat of the car were hospitalized with injuries that weren t life-threatening

Last Saturday, two students on the way to Hamilton Heights High School (private school) were victims of a car crash that took their lives on the day of their Senior Prom. The victims of the deadly accident were seniors, identified as Kalen Hart, and her prom date, Lendon Byram, from Cathedral High School in Indianapolis, as reported by CNN.
