The solution is an integrated camera/lens that captures direct angular distributions of near-IR LEDs and lasers to evaluate radiant intensity, scope, shape, pattern, and uniformity, thus ensuring the performance and safety of sensing systems. The NIR Intensity Lens utilizes Fourier optics to capture an angular distribution of light to ±70 degrees in a single measurement without moving parts, giving manufacturers extremely fast and accurate results during in-line quality control.
