Delhi Police cracks down on Covid cheats , arrests 91, freezes 214 bank accounts
The Delhi Police has launched a drive to nab Covid Cheats , which the force describes as people who duped others in this time of crisis. A total of 214 bank accounts with over Rs 53 lakhs have been freezed by the police.

In a major crackdown, the Delhi Police has so far registered 372 FIRs against people cheating others in this time of crisis. A total of 91 people have been arrested and 95 devices seized by the police. Officials have also frozen 214 bank accounts with over Rs 53 lakhs accrued by the accused by duping others.

New Delhi [India], May 11 (ANI): Delhi Police on Tuesday informed that it has so far registered 372 FIRs against Covid cheats and arrested 91 persons for the same. NEW DELHI: In a major breakthrough to elicit assistance and support for augmenting COVID management and control, Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER), MoS PMO, Personnel, Public Grievances, Pensions, Atomic Energy and Space, Dr Jitendra Singh today disclosed that Japan and UNDP have partnered to provide eight Oxygen generation plants to ensure uninterrupted Oxygen supply at hospitals in the Northeast.
He further informed that the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER) is pro-actively assisting all the eight North Eastern States to fight the second wave of COVID-19 effectively.

ISLAMABAD: A Full Court Reference was held here on Friday in the Supreme Court on the eve of retirement of Justice Manzoor Ahmed Malik, Judge of the Supreme Court.
The reference was attended by all the judges of the Supreme Court, Attorney General for Pakistan, President Supreme Court Bar Association and large number of lawyers. Addressing the Full Court Reference, Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Gulzar Ahmed while paying rich tributes said that tireless contributions of Justice Manzoor Ahmed Malik to the cause of justice and especially to the criminal jurisprudence has forged the path for generations of legal practitioners to come to be inspired by and motivated.
