“You need to trust the water. It is your best friend.”
This, coming from a 21-year-old who began swimming at age three and who has competed professionally, advising a 40-plus-year-old who has
never swam. I always wanted to learn how to swim, but did not know what to expect other than being in water and learning the “easy” techniques. Boy, was I wrong!
My biggest setback was not trusting myself to
know that the water and my body could hold me up, instead of drown - if I relaxed. Throughout the process, my coach was there telling me, “I am right here, I won’t let you get hurt.”
See Like A Servant With Fate/Grand Order Glasses
Eyewear company Eye Mirror announced more additions to its ongoing line of special glasses frames inspired by the Servants of
Fate/Grand Order. The latest entries are based on the Caster-class Servant Murasaki Shikibu and the Assassin-class Servant Yu Mei-ren. The designs were teased in a tweet from the official Eye Mirror account:
【Fate/Grand Order × メガネ】
The
the Tale of Genji and
Fate/Grand Order Caster, use an under-rim style patterned after Shikibu’s reading glasses. The tips of the arms have a checkered pattern based on the kimono jacket she wears, and purple accents allude to her color scheme. The frames also come with a beaded eyeglasses chain in the same style.
