Airline flies passengers to the wrong city
An airline made a rather fundamental error when it flew passengers to the wrong airport. Nepali carrier Buddha Air departed from Kathmandu s Tribhuvan International Airport and flew to the country s second-biggest city of Pokhara, instead of the flight s intended destination, the southern city of Janakpur. The two cities are about 250 miles apart. Once the airline realised its error it flew the passengers to the correct city.

On December 18 Buddha Air flight from Kathmandu s Tribhuvan International Airport had been scheduled to land at the southern city of Janakpur, but instead travelled to the city of Pokhara, about 250 miles away.

Kathmandu: A Nepali airline made a blunder when it flew its passengers to a wrong airport on December 18. When the 66 passengers who had booked their flights to Janakpur landed in Pokhara they were left surprised.
Domestic airline Buddha Air on December 18 departed from Kathmandu s Tribhuvan International Airport and flew northwest to the country s second-biggest city Pokhara. However, its intended destination was Janakpur in the southern part of the country. The two cities are more than 400 kilometres apart.
