Last fall, Michael Schutt was arrested and charged with Conspiracy to Deliver a Controlled Substance to a Minor; Delivery of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of a Controlled Substance With Intent to Deliver- Marijuana. Two co-defendants were also charged in the case, Meagan Crone and Donald Brower. The crimes occurred last year on October 3rd and 4th. According to court documents, during a search of Schutt’s home, law enforcement seized approximately a pound of marijuana, various drug paraphernalia items and a large amount of cash.
Schutt, at a change of plea hearing in February, pleaded “guilty” to all three of the charges as part of a plea agreement that was reached with the state. A sentencing hearing was held Tuesday in Fourth Judicial District Court in Sheridan for 23-year-old Victoria Ruiz. Last year in October, Ruiz was arrested and charged with one count of Possession of a Controlled Substance With Intent to Deliver- Marijuana. Judge Fenn also ordered Ruiz to pay $375 in various court costs and fees, which she must pay at a rate of at least $35 a month beginning June 1.

Anneliese Panasenko pleaded “guilty” to the charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance With Intent to Deliver- Marijuana. The guilty plea was part of a plea agreement reached with the State that recommends the dismissal of a charge of Delivery of a Controlled Substance to a Minor- Marijuana. The plea deal also recommends a sentence of 3 to 5 years in prison, suspended in lieu of three years of supervised probation.
Panasenko was arrested and charged with the crimes last November after an investigation that resulted in her residence being searched by law enforcement that yielded marijuana that was packaged for distribution. District Court Judge John Fenn ordered that a presentence investigation be completed and set the sentencing date for June 24 at 9 am. Panasenko’s bond was continued under the same terms and conditions that were previously set in C
The Danbury Police Department have announced the arrest of a Waterbury man who is currently facing multiple felonies after the department received numerous complaints of the alleged suspect dealing drugs right out of his vehicle.
This is not the first time that the Danbury Police have arrested Ramell Mel Crawford, of Morningside Ave in Waterbury. In fact, I wrote an article back in October 2020 about Crawford s arrest for these same charges. As it turns out, according to the press release from the Danbury PD, this is Crawford s third such arrest recently for the same offenses.
