EUGENE, Ore. Nearly all of the residents at The Springs at Greer Gardens Retirement Living in Eugene got the COVID-19 vaccine Sunday.
Over 300 residents got the shot during the community s first vaccine clinic. CEO and Owner, Fee Stubblefield, said this will bring them one step closer to having a normal life. We ve seen people crying, we ve seen people just jumping up and down with happiness that there s a sense this is going to come to an end, Stubblefield said. There s a sense that we re going to get back to normal, that there s a sense they will be free again and that they can connect again.
