KUWAIT CITY, June 30: From the remarkable success of the offline (paper) examination of high school students up to the safe reopening of schools, the Ministry of Education has taken all the necessary steps to fully prepare the 2021/2022 school year, reports Al-Rai daily. The ministry has confirmed the opening of several new schools in some educational areas early next year, taking into consideration the growth of the population and the expected increase in the number of students in view of the upcoming resumption of traditional classes. Undersecretary of the ministry Dr Ali Al-Yaqoub formed a working team tasked to take the necessary measures to fulfill the requirements for a safe and healthy resumption of traditional classes this summer; which is the busiest summer ever for the ministry’s sectors, educational areas and engineering affairs departments.

KUWAIT CITY, May 4: The Director of the Supplies and Stores Department at the Ministry of Education, Matrouk Al-Mutairi, said 8 sites have been identified to receive supplies related to health in preparation for the second semester exams for the secondary stage 2020/2021 through coordination with the Ministry of Health. He confirmed the start of the distribution of materials necessary for health requirements, including masks and sterilizers, in addition to thermometers to school districts, administrations, and religious education, in preparation for the Grade 12 paper exams.
