Black bear seen in Taunton, Middleboro and Lakeville MA

And it happened in Middleboro.  And Taunton. And Lakeville. The black bear, if it is the same black bear, has been seen lately in Taunton, Middleboro and Lakeville around the area of the Route 44 and I-495 interchange.   A video was posted on Facebook of a black bear spotted on Clayton Road in Middleboro on Wednesday morning. The road is located in a commercial and residential mix neighborhood off Route 44, near the interchange. The person shooting the video through the front windshield of his car, ever-so-slowly followed the bear who scampered into the nearby woods.  On May 12, a black bear was spotted early in the morning scoping out the grounds of the Holiday Inn in Taunton. 

Route 108/168 Croton Avenue Lane Gas Line Work Begins Wednesday in New Castle

​ Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is announcing lane restrictions on Routes 108/168 (North Croton Avenue) in the City of New Castle, Lawrence County, will begin Wednesday, May 19 weather permitting. Franklin man dies in crash into rear of stopped semi on I-70

May 13, 2021 / 10:06 PM EST INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) A Franklin man died Thursday in the crash of a car and a semitractor-trailer on Interstate 70 on the west side of Indianapolis, state police said. Randall Wilson, 55, the driver of the car, died at the crash scene. Emergency crews were called shortly after 5:35 p.m. Thursday to I-70 westbound about halfway between the Holt Road and Harding Street interchanges. A semitractor-trailer had pulled onto the shoulder of the interstate and stopped for possible mechanical issues when it was rear-ended by a Hyundai Sonata car, a preliminary investigation found. The driver of the semi, who was not identified, received minor injuries and was taken to a hospital, Indiana State Police said in a news release issued Thursday night.
