Parking at Polar Park: A complete guide of how to get in and out of Worcester Red Sox games when visiting the new ballpark
Updated May 10, 2021;
It’s not difficult to get to Worcester. The Massachusetts Turnpike will guide those from the eastern and western parts of the state. Interstates-290 and 84 can help those from the north and south find New England’s second-largest city.
Signs on the Mass. Pike and I-290 will guide fans of the Worcester Red Sox to Polar Park. But what about when they arrive in the Canal District or downtown?
Parking for Polar Park is located throughout the city including in space by the Worcester Public Library.

George Floyd, it seems to me, occupies a place in American history unlike that of anyone else.
What other person has reached such a level of renown after passing away yet was so little known in life?
I can’t think of any.
A man who never saw a day of notoriety would go on, after his tragic death, to have murals bearing his likeness, a hologram created in effigy, protests held in his honor, love wished from the world over, and billions of dollars worth of damage done in his name.
There is no one else like George Floyd.
Harris Co. DA submits letter agreeing with pardon request for George Floyd
George Floyd died after being arrested by Minneapolis police on Memorial Day in 2020.
HOUSTON - Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg submitted a letter to the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles agreeing with the request for a posthumous pardon for George Floyd.
On Monday, the request was submitted to Texas officials on behalf of Floyd for a drug arrest that was done by a now indicted ex-Houston police officer whose case history is under scrutiny following the deadly Harding Street raid.
Floyd was later sentenced to 10 months in state jail after a plea agreement.

Mercy is best enjoyed by the living. The dead, as far as we know, can’t receive the tangible benefits that usually come with a pardon for a criminal act. They can’t get the restoration of their civil rights, such as the right to vote or to serve on a jury. They can’t collect money from the state that would allow them to rebuild their lives. But that doesn’t mean the deceased can’t be pardoned. Lenny Bruce received a posthumous pardon (for obscenity), and so did Oscar Wilde (homosexuality). Such pardons are largely symbolic, a way of reckoning with an unjust past. They are more for the living than the dead.
