ORGANISERS of Rhos-on-Sea’s Tree of Lights have reported a record year despite Covid restrictions. Organised by the Rhos on Sea Rotary Club the Tree of Lights this year s fundraiser for people to remember their loved ones has exceeded all previous years with a record amount donated. The lights shines brightly on the Cayley Promenade to commemorate and remember our loved ones and has done so since the turn of the millennium when it was lit for the first time shining each Christmas in aid of our local St. David’s Hospice. In that time it has raised a total of over £325,000 for the good work the Hospice does for our Communities and in the last 12 months alone it has enabled over £62,000 to be raised with every penny donated to St. David’s Hospice.
